The main level consists of a den, great room, dining area, kitchen, a large storage closet and a 1/4 bath just inside the door from the garage. The upper level has the master bedroom with a nice walk-in closet and master bathroom which features dual vanity's, a private water closet and a large shower. There is a full bathroom which includes the tub/shower combo and plenty of cabinet space. The homeowners wanted their laundry area on the upper level so we have accommodated that behind a double door closet. We were able to utilize their existing washer and dryer by stacking it and there is a utility sink and storage as well. Then there are two more bedrooms as well as another closet in the hallway. One nice feature is that the staircase and the hallway are much wider than you would expect and with a beautiful window in the stairwell, you have a very open feeling and plenty of daylight. The lower level was left unfinished, however there is rough in plumbing for a future bathroom and another bedroom as well as a future family room. We also poured the footings for a future 4 season porch and deck. Home features a 3 car garage with a suspended garage heater and in-floor drains to wash vehicles year round! They were wanting to remodel and update their home to better fit their lifestyle. After meeting with them over a period of several months and many plan revisions, we gently approached the subject of tearing down their current home and build them their new home. After the new plans were drawn up they took the leap of faith and approved the demolition of their home in the efforts to build their 'dream' home! Well, as you can see, they made many upgrades. Fill was brought in to make their lot ready for a one level walkout instead of a split entry. The garage was moved from one end of the house to the other and just about doubled in size. This garage is any man's dream garage. It includes in-floor heat, floor drains, a sliding patio door that goes out to a little patio, and the final touch was an epoxy floor covering for easy maintenance. The home boasts a double-sided gas fireplace in the main level master bedroom/bathroom; a three-sided fireplace in the living room/dining area; and a second two-sided fireplace in the lower level family room/2nd master suite. As you look at some of the old pictures versus the new pictures you can tell that the split entry home was rather dark and didn't take advantage of the lake view. The new home has a very open floor plan with vaulted ceilings and many large windows on the back of the house to enjoy the view of the lake!
